CLEVELAND CLINIC PHYSICIAN KNOWN AS “DR. TANGO” TO APPEAR AT TRI-C
- Noon, Main Theatre, Metropolitan Campus, 2900 Community College Avenue, Cleveland
- 2:30 p.m., Room SS 04-A, Western Campus, 11000 Pleasant Valley Road, Parma
- 5 p.m., Room 230, Corporate College® East, 4400 Richmond Road, Warrensville Heights
Dr. Tango will instruct attendees on how practicing dance-inspired metaphors such as "Do Not Anticipate" and "Follow What You Lead" can result in happier, healthier relationships at work and at home, and greater emotional and physical wellness. Her appearances at Tri-C are sponsored by the college's Health & Wellness program.
Compelled by her experiences as a holistic healer, and the personal and professional lessons she's acquired through her passion for tango dancing, Dr. Potts formed a consulting company, Dr. Tango LLC, in 2004. She conducts corporate and consumer workshops that often incorporate Argentine Tango performances into her lectures.
Dr. Tango's patients and audiences enjoy her authenticity, compassion and special way of parlaying the philosophies of the dance into a means for individual and organizational development. The Cleveland Clinic Press will release her book, Tango: Lessons For Life, later this year.
